The two companies had quite different traditions and styles, and the new logo and artwork was a blend of the two. Some full price product went onto the Virgin label, but there were two versions.
Ninja Warriors shows the traditional Virgin Games logo whilst Golden Axe has a newer style in keeping with the Virgin Group artwork. Releases in the USA used the traditional artwork. While nearly all budget games continued to be released on the Mastertronic label, a new identity was created. The company itself was now called Virgin Mastertronic. The logo, as displayed here on Bronx Street Cop, was used on our stationery but not much on any products.
